For families
Many of the people who contact us are parents, partners and friends. Whether your loved one is researching ibogaine, already booked, or just home from treatment, you don’t have to navigate this alone.
The first weeks after ibogaine can bring big emotions, low energy, poor sleep and a strong wish to change everything at once. Patience, routine and gentle support help. If your loved one was using opioids, their tolerance will be lower after treatment, and a return to their old dose can be fatal. Make sure naloxone (Narcan) is in the home and that you know how to use it.
Supporting someone through addiction or treatment is exhausting. Family groups and a therapist of your own can make a real difference. We can help you find both.
