Choosing a provider
Ibogaine treatment centers vary enormously in medical standards, staff and aftercare. The right questions will tell you most of what you need to know. Here is what to ask, what to watch for, and how we can help you compare.
Some ibogaine providers operate as medical clinics, with physicians, nurses and heart monitoring. Others run retreat-style programs focused on ceremony and personal growth. For anyone with substance use, health conditions or current medications, medical supervision is essential, whatever the setting.
Because ibogaine is a Schedule I substance in the US, most people travel abroad for treatment. Mexico has many clinics, and others operate elsewhere. Location matters less than medical standards, honesty and aftercare.
We know this field from the inside. Ibogaine Support Line is run by a small group of clinic operators, so we know what good care looks like and what to avoid. We’ll tell you if an option we suggest is affiliated with us, and we’re glad to point you to another provider when that fits you better.
Ibogaine Support Line provides free information, guidance and referrals. We are not a medical provider and nothing on this site is medical advice. Ibogaine carries serious risks, including to the heart, and should only be considered with thorough medical screening and qualified medical supervision. Medical disclaimer · Privacy policy
